The Maskandi music project houses a total of ten (10) songs. The 10 songs of “Sasibaningi” album by Thandazani, are well crafted by the artist and his production crew members. The project featured two renowned Maskandi musicians in the persons of Mfoka Msezane and Maphungula in the project. Mfoka Msezane who recently released his 2024 project titled “Inxeba lezitha”,  was featured in the second track of the project titled Sekuyimi iNkosi while Maphungula was featured in the sixth song titled Isizuzwana Somuthi.

Thandazani Mncube, known simply as Thandazani, hails from Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, and is now based in Soweto, Gauteng. Drawing from his rich Zulu heritage, Thandazani’s music combines soulful vocals, poignant lyrics, and masterful blending of traditional Maskandi instrumentation with modern production techniques, creating a unique sound that showcases his cultural roots and contemporary style.
