Review of Uvengobani Album by Nongoma: Talented South African music artiste, Nongoma came through with a brand new maskandi music project which is titled “Uvengobani”.

MaskandiMusic Media Team have come up with a well detailed review about the 2024 music project from the fast-growing KwaZulu-Natal Musician.

Official Release Date:

The Maskandi album was released officially on the 29th of August, 2024 on all streaming platforms. This Album showcases Nongoma‘s blend of traditional maskandi sounds with contemporary influences, further solidifying his place in the evolving landscape of Maskandi music.

Number of Tracks:

The Maskandi music project houses a total of twelve songs. The “Uvengobani” album by Nongoma, released in 2024, features a total of twelve (12) song. Each song showcases the Nongoma’s mastery of maskandi music, blending traditional Zulu sounds with contemporary elements. The Album captures a variety of themes, ranging from love and social issues to the everyday experiences of modern Zulu life, making it a compelling addition to their musical legacy.

Nongoma featured a total number of six artists in the project including Magwinyibuzi, Qhawe Mjukuja, Zukelwa, Vukeyiphethe, Zanokuhle and Mavukuvuku. This showing his willingness and zeal to work together with artists in bringing traditional Zulu music to the limelight.

About The Artist (Ivalamlomo):

Nongoma, is a regular rising star in the Maskandi music scene, hailing from the vibrant province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Nongoma grew up in a musical family, surrounded by the rich sounds of Maskandi and traditional Zulu music. His early exposure to these genres sparked a deep love and appreciation for the art form, leading him to pursue a career in music.
